Stopped in to Slims for a burger and and brew and on top of the food being great, the service was top notch. Owen and Addy were very attentive and very pleasant. Will definitely be back!
Slim's Bar & Grill is a gem! Lisa and her staff are incredibly accommodating, and my cheeseburger with fried onions was absolutely perfect. Simple, delicious, and exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

It’s the local log cabin bar! We LOVE the burgers. Made on a flattop, they are juicy and so flavorful! The horseradish cheese is amazing we enjoy dipping our potato chips in Beer’s BBQ Sauce! Staff is wonderful, clean environment, cozy vibe. Love when the windows are painted with festive scenes in the winter. Slim’s is a local treasure!

Keep it simple done to perfection! Great burgers and an atmosphere you just don't get from anywhere else. Avocado burger and found my new favorite drink Red Bull and Cranberry.
Came here for a quick lunch. As expected, north woods type of atmosphere. We were seated quickly and staff were attentive. I had a cheeseburger with onions. It was very good and priced reasonably. Nice sear on the burger, cooked to a medium well, and fried onions melted into the cheese was a nice touch. I could've used a bit more seasoning on the burger itself, but overall very good. Update - been here a few times visiting Bemidji - great experiences every time. The Chili Cheeseburger is a meal in itself.
EVERYONE who works there was polite,smiling, & very efficient & they were extremely busy! Wish I was a local, I would eat & drink here day and night! Unbelievable food & HAVE to try their BBQ sauce, you will want to buy the bottle! We had the award-winning chili and took home with us pulled pork, out of this world delicious! Cannot say enough about this place, I absolutely love it and the people who work there
